My sense is that you don’t really need me to explain what massage is or how it can help you – seems most people understand how amazing healing touch is for the body and the mind. So let’s create your perfect massage together each and every time you visit. From the moment you walk in, until the moment you leave, I am giving you an experience – of depth, compassion, nurture and transformation through healing touch. The more you can let go of your inner stories, the deeper your experience of relaxation will be.
During your massage I will use a blend of soft hand pressure, deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Whilst your body will communicate to me, I will also be checking in with you during your massage. Some visits you may need gentle and loving healing touch to find the deepest relaxation. Other visits you may prefer deeper pressure and trigger point releases, or perhaps a blend of the two. Remember, this is YOUR massage. We may talk, or be in silence… it’s up to you. And if you’re not sure what you need then I am very intuitive in delivering just the right experience for you.
You may notice the difference in the touch that comes from having the daily practices that allow me to clear my mind and be totally present with you and tuned in to your physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Also, I cant not touch you without the presence of the hours of qigong, meditation, yoga and mindfulness practiced over the years. Its like a bonus gift for you that simply flows through my hands as they lovingly connect with you.
Reiki healing
I can include Reiki into your healing experience at the beginning, during, or towards the end of your massage. I will simply adjust the “hands on” massage time within our session around what you would like. If you’re unsure what Reiki is and how it can benefit you, then visit here, or call me to learn more.
Allergy Advice….
Allergy advice: I use low allergenic and non staining fractionated coconut oil for all my massages. If any aromatherapy essential oil or other topical cream (eg: fisiocrem, Arnica Cream etc) is used, we will discuss this prior to its application.
How long is a treatment?
This is entirely up to you! You are the best guide for ideal time span for you to experience this massage experience. 60 mins is the minimum time frame I do, and the majority of clients opt for this. However, having said that – an increasing amount of people in the past few months have been choosing to experience 90 minutes. They say that anything less leaves you feeling like you’ve missed out. And yes – we can go for 2 hrs (or more!) if you want to totally lose yourself to bliss. You wont believe how fast this time passes or how deeply relaxed you will feel.
I’m not the therapist for you if you want a fast rub down to get you on your way again (if you would like this type of massage I can refer you to a great therapist that I love for this kind of treatment). Nor am I trained to diagnose muscular injuries or advise treatment for them.
Prices:
60 mins – $100
90 mins – $150
120 mins – $200
If it’s your first visit with me we will need to fill in some paperwork. To make this process faster and maximise the hands on time for your session, I can send the form by email to you before you come. Bring in the completed and signed form to your first appointment. We will then discuss the content prior to the beginning of the massage.
